 Acclaimed Czech singer and violinist Iva Bittová, saxophonist Don Byron, and guitarist Marc Ribot debut their new trio for a concert at Montalvo. A charismatic performer who simultaneously sings and plays the violin, Bittová is as much at home in classical music as in avant-garde and folk. In 2005, she began collaborating with one of the world's leading modern chamber groups, The Bang On A Can All-Stars, an ensemble where she first met the esteemed saxophonist Don Byron.

Bronx, New York-born Don Byron is a singular voice amidst an astounding range of musical contexts, exploring widely divergent traditions while continually striving for what he calls "a sound above genre." As a clarinetist, saxophonist, composer, arranger, and social critic, he's revered by many as an artist redefining every genre he touches whether it be classical, hip-hop, funk, klezmer, swing, bebop or far-reaching downtown NYC improvisation. 14th Annual Earth Day Concert
This year's 14th Annual Earth Day Concert featuring The BoDeans and Mike Doughty's Band is Sunday, April 27th at The Moore Theatre! Tickets are on-sale now and going fast so click here to get your tickets! Tickets are $45, $35, and $25 (plus applicable service or box office charges). A portion of all ticket sales will benefit The Wilderness Society, and their conservation efforts in Washington State. To date, 103.7 The Mountain has donated over $1.25 Million to The Wilderness Society.
