Rickey Smiley has been working the comedy circuit more than a decade ago and it has paid off. Establishing himself as a clean comic, his down home southern humor has made him a favorite in the top comedy venues across the country. From intimate comedy clubs to sold out crowds at Madison Square Garden, Smiley's unique style of humor resonates with his audiences unlike any other comic on the road today. As a local radio host Rickey endured himself to the Birmingham community and continues to stay in touch with many of the people who were instrumental in his career.

Smiley's characters have become his comedic trademark. From Bernice and her church announcements to Coach McClainy and his lack of motivational skills, Rickey's audiences can't seem to get enough of him. Rickey is so convincing doing his character impersonations, he has released five comedy CDs.

Smiley also made his mark in the feature film arena, appearing in Friday After Next.. Best known as host of the 2000 season of BET's ComicView, Rickey led the show to its highest jump in ratings in the show's ten-year history. BET then quickly signed him to host The Way We Do It during the 2001-2002 season, and that show went on to become one of the top five shows on the network.

Anthony Anderson for his numerous films and tv sitcoms which include Barbershop, Exit Wound,, Hustle and Flow, K-Ville and Hanging with the Andersons! Known for his versatility and side splitting comedic style Anthony is gaining recognition on a national and international level.

St. Pete Times Forum Hosts XFC 6 This Friday!

Since the St. Pete Times Forum hosted its first XFC mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card in November 2007, multiple new MMA gyms have opened in the Tampa area. Dozens of local fighters have turned professional. Several of these fighters made their professional debut at XFC's "Salute to Our Armed
Forces 2" fight card which took place in March 2008.
