The Inagural Outside Lands Music and Arts festival is back for 2008. This event will be held August 22, 23, and 24, at Golden Gate Park in San Fransisco, California. This three day event will include over 60 acts on 5 different stages. Some of the largest names performing will be Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Jack Johnson, Radiohead, Beck, Wilco, Ben Harper, Primus, and Widespread Panic. Outside Lands also boasts performances from Manu Chao, Steve Winwood, Broken Social Scene, Galactic, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Black Mountain, Drive-By Truckers, Cafe Tacuba and Devendra Banhart. Regina Spektor, Cold War Kids, Lyrics Born, Andrew Bird, Steel Pulse, M. Ward, Dredg, the Cool Kids, Grace Potter, Nellie McKay, the Coup and Bon Iver are also scheduled to perform.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Sunday, March 30th at 10AM local time. However, presales are happening now and will be happening until the public sale. All fans need is the Outside Lands presale password to secure tickets before the general public. If you are interested all you need to do is find the Outside Lands presale password and type it in when prompted by ticketmaster.
