Comedian Artie Lange comes to Ruth Eckerd Hall for the first time on Friday, December 12 at 8 pm. Comedian, actor, writer, producer, entrepreneur, radio personality – these are just a few ways to describe the prolific talent who continues his rise in the entertainment industry. One of the most sought-after live comedians and talk show guests, Lange has been a regular on The Howard Stern Show for the past five years. Lange’s career began in the comedy clubs of New York City, where he helped create the popular sketch comedy group Live On Tape. This led to his being cast as one of the original regulars on FOX’s Mad TV. Soon he was a regular guest comedian on the nationally syndicated The Howard Stern Show. In October 2001 he became a member of the show cast and can now be heard every day on the Sirius Satellite radio.
